## About PADD 1C (Lower Atlantic) propane price

The Lower Atlantic, PADD 1C, covers Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. It sits at the end of the Dixie pipeline, the line that carries Gulf Coast propane across the Southeast and terminates near Apex, North Carolina, an unusually direct pipeline connection for an East Coast region and the reason supply here runs steadier than further north. Demand mixes rural home heating in the Piedmont and the mountains with a farm season the thermostat does not explain: poultry and turkey houses running brooders and tobacco barns curing the crop, both of which draw ahead of any real cold.
